What's included — and what isn't
- •Arnona (municipal tax): you pay it, billed every two months and set by m² and zone. Find your exact figure on the building page in an apartment check, or the municipality site.
- •Va'ad bayit (building fee): depends on the building (elevator, garden, doorman). Ask the monthly amount before signing.
- •Electricity, water, gas and internet aren't included here — budget them separately.
- •If there's an agent, the fee is usually one month's rent + VAT — a one-time cost. Worth factoring in, and checking whether it applies to you at all.
